"I did HBOT treatment for Chronic Lyme disease. When I began
treatments, I had extreme fatigue, night sweats, pain in my eye,
numbness in my leg as well as muscle aches and jaw soreness.
Although it's recommended to do HBOT along with antibiotic therapy,
I don't tolerate antibiotics well and had already been on them
twice for Lyme disease without much help. So I did HBOT alone.
Within 20 minutes of breathing oxygen in the chamber, I would
notice "die off" symptoms: the knee where I was bit, or my neck, or
my jaw would really start to ache. I found that fascinating. After
30 treatments, some of my symptoms disappeared, such as the
numbness in my leg, the pain in my eye, and night sweats. My energy
level improved. As an adjunctive therapy for Lyme disease, I
believe HBOT is very useful."

My sister Linda suffered a stroke 3 1/2 years ago and had very
little improvement despite a continuous regiment of physical
therapy, until she began receiving HBOT. Since she started the
oxygen treatments she has been able to flex her right foot and
toes; something she hasn't done in the time since her stroke. Her
speech has improved and the right side of her face no longer
droops. Her physical and speech therapist are thrilled with her
improvements and are able to challenge her with more intense
exercises.
After 40 HBOT treatments, HBOT definitely made a significant
difference in Linda's life. Not only has it helped her physically,
but in my opinion, it has helped her emotionally and
psychologically as well.
UPDATE: Linda is now living alone with her sister in an apartment
in her sister's house. Meg still believes that Linda did extremely
well with HBOT. Meg also believes that one day Linda will be more
independent and live on her own again someday.

The following are the areas that I think were affected by the HBOT
treatments we did for my son who has cerebral palsy.
Increase in verbal ability: better sounds and initiations of
sounds, which weren't present prior to treatment.
Greater range of motion in shoulders and hips - Jake is putting his
feet up to his face more frequently and wasn't doing that really at
all prior to treatment.
He's more demanding (which doesn't sound like a good thing, but I
think it probably is) - he needs a lot more stimulation. Before he
was more content to play with toys that I picked out, now he has a
much stronger opinion of what we do or how we play with it.

"The changes I saw in my daughter with HBOT were and still are
amazing. That is why I am committed to making HBOT available to
others. I hope that you can read my story about all I have been
through with treating my daughter."
